As a Support Engineer you will monitor and maintain a low latency global network that delivers real-time market data feeds to its client base. Your main responsibility will be to provide excellent, real-time monitoring of hardware, application software and network connections, detecting any issues and ensuring they are quickly fixed or escalated. You will be required to work on a 24/7 rotational 12 hour shift basis.

*Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Microsoft Active Directory and Windows Server administration (2008/2012; Web/Standard/Enterprise)
*Good knowledge of databases (SQL)
*Familiar with Networking technologies (TCP/IP)
*Excellent communication skills
*Degree educated - 2:1 or above in Computer Science or similar
*Must be able to work 24/7, 12 hour shifts on rotation (usually three shifts in a row followed by three days off)
