Position: Support Coordinator
Job Type: Fixed Term for 18 months from start date
Hours: Part time, 21 per week
Salary: circa £22,500 per annum pro rata

About the role:
They are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join their team in Sheffield to deliver an exciting new support service for local carers.
Reporting to the Support Manager for Yorkshire, the role will plan and deliver one of their programmes, where sessions help carers better understand stroke and how it affects people. It teaches carers about the different kinds of support that may be available, helps them plan to deal with emergencies and ensures that they are aware of measures they can take to maintain their own health and wellbeing.
Applicants are likely to have a background in the caring profession, preferably with knowledge of stroke. You must have all round flexible skills in listening, communication, organisation, IT and resourcefulness. The role will require you to have your own car and a current driving licence.
You may have experience of the following: Stroke Recovery Service Coordinator, Support Coordinator, Service Coordinator, Health Care, Stroke Recovery, Third Sector, Charity, Advice, Administration etc.
