My client is looking for somebody from a Supply Chain, Logistics or Co-ordination background.
Offering an attractive salary of up to £20,000 with 25 days holidays plus bank holidays.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedule the replenishment of stock ensuring a standard level of service in terms of material availability.
Ensure the optimisation of material availability within the distribution network whilst not compromising adversely product availability.
Arrange the transfer of inventory into each stocking location to satisfy the agreed criteria for minimum and maximum stockholding for all externally sourced finished goods.
Working within a small team, the Planning role is to provide availability of product within the published stock categorisation.
The role requires good communication with Works Administration, Customer Services and Transport personnel, to provide a quality service for availability and effective distribution of material.
In addition to the planned service, integral to this role is offering a speedy and effective reaction to either unscheduled demand or unscheduled receipt shortfall.
