The Supply Chain Manager will work closely with the clients senior managers and team members, serving as a supply chain and logistics expert on specific projects within a range of public and private sector clients and collaborators.

Description

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the below.

  • Review and further develop the supplier base that is appropriate to the size and complexity of the organisation and mitigate supplier risk;
    • Work with technical teams from the Testing and Validation Directorate to improve quality standards of the supply chain.
    • Review requirement documents (i.e., requisitions, statement of work, drawings, and specifications) for clarity and adequacy;

    • Work independently in delivering an end to end procurement service, providing guidance on complex issues and securing contractual agreements to ensure service quality, added value and security of supply.
    • Ensure that third party suppliers and contractors work in alignment with health, safety, environment and quality practices and standards;

Profile

The Supply Chain Manager must be educated to HND level qualification or equivalent in a relevant subject or studying towards Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) membership or equivalent relevant experience.

You must have operational knowledge and experience of logistics, supply chain management and end to end procurement processes, methods and techniques; including negotiation skills and contract management as well as working knowledge of contracts in the Offshore Sector.
