Supply Chain Manager

We are delighted to be recruiting for an excellent opportunity with our client based in Kings Lynn.

The primary purpose of this role is to support and maintain the UK Supply Chain whilst ensuring the delivery of world class customer service through effective management of people, material resources, proactive decision making and cost controls.

Ensure effective relationships are maintained with all customers and suppliers through clear communication and the delivery of world class customer service
To provide budgets and forecasts for the team and to deliver the budget as agreed
Play an active role in the UK management team meetings, making proactive decisions to maintain an effective Supply Chain operation.
Responsible for ensuring effective Stock Control and purchasing processes are in place and strive to improve stock management and purchasing process and controls
Attend sales strategy meetings to ensure that future demands and customer expectations are clearly understood and any challenges / risks are identified & mitigated
Monitor all daily KPI’s and action issues to maintain and improve team performance / morale
Develop the Supply Chain team to enable them to deliver exceptional results in their areas of responsibility whilst ensuring that a clear succession plan exists for each role
To maintain effective, co-operative working relationships with all internal and external customers whilst ensuring that an assertive approach is taken to achieve set deadline requirements
Provide structured training and guidance to members of the team, ensuring that performance reviews and development plans are in place where appropriate
Provide comprehensive business information on supply chain KPI’s in order to measure the success of the department and drive continuous improvement.
Ensure all local and business KPI’s are accurate and updated on a daily basis
Monitor, review and report on all customer complaints, ensuring that satisfactory resolutions are reached in all cases
Manage all associated cost centres including budget setting and period reviews
Complete all appropriate administration in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring that records are clear and auditable

The job holder should be educated to A’ Level standard or equivalent with at least C grades or equivalent in Maths and English.
