Position: Supply Chain Manager (CIPS, Manufacturing)

Location: Hatfield, Hertfordshire

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity within a global manufacturing company in which you will be recognised and rewarded for your achievements! You will be required to to manage the efforts of the Sub-Contract & Material resources, as well as managing both Goods In and Out operations ensuring full compliance on Import/Export regulations. You will also be part of the Senior Management Team and in that be expected to provide strategic direction for your team. Essentially, you will manages the site's supply chain functions including material planning, sub contract management, direct procurement, and supplier performance management.

Key Skills:

A-C GCSE Level or equivalent in English and Maths;
CIPS
Minimum of 5 years' experience in buying
3 years' experience of planning and prioritising to meet tight deadlines;
Minimum of 3 years Management experience.
Experience Heavy Duty Manufacturing Industry
Good communication skills with the ability to communicate and liaise effectively at all levels within the Company;
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with both immediate team members and other production teams;
IT proficiency with the ability to input and retrieve data;
Good time management and organisational skills.
Strong problem solving skills.
PC literate with Words, Excel & PowerPoint skills.
