My client is an industry-leading manufacturer and supplier of state of the art chemicals to a number of diverse end-user industries. Working from their site in West Northumberland/Cumbrian borders, my client seeks a Supply Chain Coordinator to join the team.

Reporting to the Chief Exec, the Supply Chain Coordinator will be responsible for the following:

-Total responsibility for the procurement of raw materials, commodities, consumables and all business supplies.
-Supply chain administration
-Supplier management
-Materials/commodities management
-Documentation processing inc. invoicing
-Goods in/out
-Combat, manage and report on Supplier related issues, e.g. delivery performance
-General administrative duties

To be considered for the role, it is essential that you possess purchasing experience, ideally gained in a manufacturing setting with additional supply chain expertise e.g. logistics.

Key selection criteria includes:

-Demonstrable experience of using SAP is essential
-Educated to HNC level as a minimum in a related discipline
-Excellent negotiation skills
-First-rate communicator with confidence
-Keen eye for detail
-Highly organised
-Experience of using the full Microsoft suite inc. Excel
-Excellent IT skills
