Supply Chain Coordinator

Due to continued expansion, our industry-leading client is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their existing team. The Supply Chain Coordinator will enjoy working within a fast-paced and exciting environment dealing with clients and customers with day to day queries on stock management to a high standard. The Supply Chain Coordinator will be working within a motivated and dedicated team become part of an expanding and progressive company. The Supply Chain Coordinator will have exciting opportunities for future career progression throughout the company as the department expands.

To apply for the Supply Chain Coordinator position, you must have previous supply chain or logistics experience gained within a professional environment and you must be able to deal with a busy and sometimes pressurised environment. The Supply Chain Coordinator must also have excellent communication skills and be able to interact with business customers through written and verbal methods. The Supply Chain Coordinator must also have a high level of attention to detail, being able to enter data accurately and quickly.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Respond to requests from the customer service team on long term stock issues
  • Liaise with suppliers on stock control, planning and service issues
  • Ensure system is updated with any supplier price changes or promotions
  • Support the inbound team to help resolve any complaints they may have
  • Communicate to all relevant departments information on any new items or promos
  • Obtain quotes for import and export shipment arrangements or couriers
  • Support Supply Chain Manager in forecasting and maintaining stock levels
  • Support the Inbound Supply Chain team and help to prioritise queries and requests from freight forwarders, warehouses and suppliers


Essential Skills:

  • Experience working within a logistics environment or a transport planning role
  • Professional friendly manner
  • Positive work ethic - `can do` attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - be able to confidently communication through written and verbal methods
  • IT Skills - including advanced excel skills
  • Sage X3 would be desirable
