You’ll spend 5 years learning from experts and, as well as getting valuable real world experience, you’ll study for a university level qualification.

You can expect on-the-job training, classroom learning and the kind of practical experience you simply can’t get on a university campus. Real work, earning real money, with real career prospects. Block and day release training will be at Bridgwater & Taunton College (years 1 and 2) and the University West of England (years 3-5).

You’ll work in our central Bristol office or near the HPC site, or with our supply chain partners also based in Bristol. This year we have Supply Chain Apprentice opportunities available within EDF Energy or with two of our supply chain partners – Faithful+Gould and Balfour Beatty.

At the end of the apprenticeship you will move into a permanent role in the EDF Energy HPC Supply Chain team or within one of our Supply Chain partners with responsibility for managing your own portfolio of contracts.

As you learn and develop on the apprenticeship, you’ll be taking home a salary which will grow as you gain more experience. You’ll also receive travel support for journeys to/from college and university. As well as salary, you’ll be able to enjoy a pension scheme; 25 days holiday, with an additional 8 public holidays; have access to a range of flexible benefits; and benefit from excellent career development opportunities.
