The purpose of this role is for the developing and implementing effective supply network planning strategies and systems that maximise customer service and are valued by my client's internal stakeholders. This role requires someone who has the ability to understand a planning process months in advance rather than a more standard 30-60 days.

- Leads product family monthly S&OP process. Ie Develop, communicate and implement valid long term plans and scenarios based on valid capability assessments supporting clear strategies and tactics
- Co-ordinates responses to (chronic) adherence problems.
- Plays a key role with new product development (and other) projects to implement new products or services into the product family
- Assists the development and improvement of BG Planning systems to minimise the use of off-line planning tools and make it easy to keep them aligned with SAP
Carries out core planning duties (coordinates daily/weekly reviews; addresses short-term supply imbalances; address system alerts and converts system reqs to purchase orders; maintains masterdata; produces routine adherence and performance reports; advises on changes to stocking policies in support of network changes; keeps off-line planning tools in alignment with SAP)
The successful candidate may have already been operating in an analytical role across a supply chain and have possibly attended or ran S&OP practice. Furthermore they will need to have worked in Production and/or factory logistics or dealing with customers and/or suppliers is essential.
