Supply Chain Administrator | Macclesfield | £25,000 + bonus
Your new company
A highly successful family-owned business based in the idyllic location of Macclesfield. The company is a £multi-million wholesaler with over 70 years of experience. Following recent success and record revenue last year, they now want you to join the Supply Chain team as an Administrator.
Your new role
You will play a pivotal role within the company, as you will strive to ensure that the company has a fully audited supply trail. You will analyse data and liaise with various parties, including suppliers and freight forwarders, to establish when stock is arriving, at what cost, where it's arriving, where it has been dispatched from and by whom and what duties and tariffs the orders are subject to. It is essential that you record all of this data, and more, with a high degree of accuracy, due to the nature of the products that this company buys and sells. You will create and process various supply chain reports.
What you'll need to succeed
You need to have a keen eye for detail and be incredibly thorough with your work. This company operates an extremely watertight process to minimise mistakes - there is no room for error with these products! You will also have strong administrative skills with proven experience in a similar supply chain role, involving both inbound and outbound supply chain activities. Above all, you will have a positive, can-do attitude and bring energy to the team. As you will be using MS Excel daily, it is essential that you are experienced in using this software.
