Supply Chain Administrator - Salary c£24,000 - £26,000 DOE + Excellent Benefits

Based: Hertfordshire

Our Client a Times Fast-track 100 Company and market leading and dynamic Food import and export business are seeking an exceptional Supply Chain Administrator to join their team. Working alongside the License Administrator you will be uniquely placed to grow and develop your skill set in this fast moving environment.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Taking orders by phone and email for supply from Europe and processing
  • Checking credit limit availability and proforma invoices
  • Processing orders
  • Inputting new contracts onto the system
  • Collating reports
  • Buying foreign currency and allocating currency against supplier invoices
  • Arranging deliveries and dealing with incoming monthly invoice
  • Ad-hoc administration as required
  • Adhering to health and safety aspects of the role
  • Controlling and updating spreadsheets to accurately reflect the product allocations
  • Provide M.I and reporting for senior managers when required
  • Liaise effectively with all colleagues assisting them with their daily tasks where possible

Candidate Skills and Experience Required:

  • Ideally educated to A level standard or above, minimum GCSE maths and English
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Must be highly numerate with good IT skills and experience
  • Some import / export experience may be useful although is not essential
  • Highly IT literate, particularly Microsoft Excel to advanced level
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with all colleagues easily
  • Possess strong commercial understanding and the drive to succeed
  • Determined nature and mind set to "hit the ground running" and learn quickly
