An exciting opportunity has arisen with my client. They are a successful Engineering company in the Medical sector that are offering a stable and lucrative career. They require a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to establish and develop working partnerships with Key suppliers.
The successful candidate for the Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer role will be responsible for providing an effective and timely response to quality related supplier issues and to minimize potential disruptions to manufacturing.
We are looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer who ideally has the following skills:
*Supplier Quality experience or 5 years experience in a Quality Engineering role
*Must be a proactive team player, with a positive 'can do' attitude.
*Must possess excellent communication skills.

Other responsibilities will include:
*Work in a team environment with suppliers to develop and implement best practices that emphasise defect prevention, reduction in variation and waste and provide for continuous improvements in meeting all customer requirements.
*Collect root cause analysis
*Maintain & progress supplier non-conformances/records via QPulse system.
*Manage the customer specific requirements and offer technical support to suppliers.
*Introduce initiatives based on general supplier development/improvement.
*Manage the customer specific requirements and offer technical support.
*Work with suppliers to ensure supplied parts and materials meet Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery requirements.
*Conduct regular Quality Review Meetings with key suppliers and report on same.
*Develop, Document and maintain a supplier rating system and report on same
*Conduct Supplier reviews/ audits to ensure the supplier processes meet our requirements.
*Adherence to Quality Management System (QMS) requirements in line with ISO13485 QMS & Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) FDA21 CFR Part 820.
*Ensure that process & timeline requirements for Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA) are met in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and in support of Global Objectives for CAPA.
