A hugely successful, privately owned business with a world-renowned brand are looking for a Supplier Processing Assistant to join their busy accounts team on a maternity cover contract (12 months). Situated in a stunning location, they offer excellent benefits and room to develop.
Working closely with internal/external suppliers and senior managers within the organisation across several different sites, the role will be responsible for processing the purchase ledger transactions to ensure the organisation’s suppliers are paid within the agreed payment terms. Specifically, this will include receipting purchase invoices from suppliers, matching purchase invoices to purchase orders, coding and data entry of purchase invoices onto purchase ledger, reconciliation of supplier accounts and resolution of any queries and disputes and preparation of purchase ledger payment runs. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of supplier account information and month end and year end purchase ledger procedures and reconciliations.
We would love to hear from you if you have experience in multisite, high volume low value purchase ledger processing and proficient in the use of accounting software and Microsoft Office. Additionally, you must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to build a rapport with others quickly and collaborate effectively in order to resolve problems swiftly and in a professional manner. Own transport is highly essential.
