A major public sector organisation based in Merseyside is seeking an experienced procurement expert to support with their supplier contracts.
Your new role
As Procurement Contracts Manager, you will review the performance of suppliers against established SLAs. You will also be accountable for the on-boarding of and negotiations with new suppliers and stakeholders. As Procurement/Supplier Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing any variations to any commercial terms on said contracts and reporting on contract performance. You will be proactive in your approach and apply due diligence to source and screen prospective suppliers for the requirements of the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
- Extensive track record in procurement and contract management
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Preferably MCIPS qualified (L5 minimum, ideally Level 6)
- Able to work in a fast-paced and ever-evolving work environment
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
