They are now looking for a Supervisor to join their team where you will be based at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital and will be responsible for the Linen Room Service. This is a permanent, full time position where you will work 37.5 hours per week.
Within the role you will check the quantity and quality of clean laundered linen, issuing and distributing to wards and departments whilst following a work schedule to ensure all linen is sorted and arranged for collection. Maintaining accurate records of all linen, you will liaise daily with the host laundry, wards and departments, Customer Relationship Manager and Contract Manager, assessing their daily linen requirements and making sure agreed stock levels are maintained.
They are looking for someone who has supervisory experience, coupled with excellent customer service skills. With a high attention to detail and the ability to prioritise, you will be a hands on leader who works well as part of a team. Above all, you will strive to deliver a good customer service.
The working hours for this role are Monday - Friday, and there are various shifts: 6am - 2pm, 7am - 3pm, 9am - 5pm. There is also the occasional requirement to cover weekends when needed.
