Litigation Supervisor – Motor & Personal Injury Location: Hybrid – Manchester Salary: Competitive + Excellent Benefits
A leading international law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Supervisor to join its growing Motor & Personal Injury team. This is an exciting opportunity to handle a diverse caseload of complex and litigated motor claims while mentoring and supervising junior team members in a supportive, high-performing environment.
The Opportunity You’ll manage your own caseload of litigated fast-track and small claims, including RTA, personal injury, and credit hire matters, acting for major insurers, TPAs, and self-insured clients. Alongside this, you’ll play a key role in supervising junior fee earners, ensuring excellent technical standards and client service across the team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of litigated RTA and personal injury claims from inception to resolution.
Provide guidance, supervision, and mentorship to junior members of the team.
Review and advise on complex liability issues and settlement strategies.
Liaise directly with insurer clients, providing pragmatic and commercially focused advice.
Ensure compliance with procedural rules, CPR, and internal processes.
Support the wider team with technical training and performance development initiatives.
About You
Qualified Solicitor with 2–5 years’ PQE (guideline only).
Experience managing fast-track and small claims litigation within motor or personal injury.
Strong understanding of the MOJ and OIC portals and associated procedures.
Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior team members.
Excellent communication, organisational, and client care skills.
Confident managing deadlines and competing priorities.
IT literate with experience using case management systems.
