Join us as a Summer Vacation Receptionist and be part of our Residences Team. As a Summer Vacation Receptionist you’ll be a team player with a real focus on delivering a high level of service on a daily basis.
Campus Services at Imperial College London are currently recruiting dedicated summer staff to facilitate our busy summer lettings period. We operate the student bedrooms over the summer vacation period as a huge budget hotel (approx.1600 bedrooms over 5 sites)
We provide high quality Reception Services to both internal and external guests staying at Imperial College’s Student Halls during this period,
This role is a fantastic opportunity for highly motivated people wishing to gain invaluable experience in a fast paced environment within the hospitality industry of a World class institution.
As Reception Staff you will be the focal point for all guests. Main duties will include meeting and greeting guests upon arrival, providing information on the local and surrounding areas, liaising with housekeeping staff and contractors to ensure the building is maintained to a high standard at all times, using our computer system to check guests in and out and carrying out any other duties required by the post.
A positive and enthusiastic attitude when dealing with people is essential, as is the desire to deliver and achieve the high standards that are expected from this role. You will have outstanding organisational skills, strong IT abilities and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Team work will play a big part in this role so the ability to adapt and communicate within a group of people is essential as is the ability to remain calm under pressure.
