Suicide Prevention Project Manager

The West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care Partnership (WYHCP) developed a 5-year suicide prevention strategy. The key objective is preventing and reducing the number of suicides across WYHCP as part of the Five Year Forward View implementation.

You will lead exciting new projects aimed at engaging and supporting people at increased risk of suicide, including a pathfinder project for men and postvention service for those bereaved by suicide. Involved in developing funding proposals, you will network with a wide range of partners across the region and lead the implementation of the WYHCP suicide prevention strategy. You will also utilise your knowledge, skills and experience in risk management and project/strategy implementation and often be the public face of suicide prevention across the region.

To apply, you should have previous experience or currently be working at a senior level, band 8A, and equivalent or above and have knowledge, skills and experience in risk management, a genuine interest in suicide prevention and track record in implementing projects or strategy development and implementation.

The post will be based in West Yorkshire but you will be expected travel widely across the region.
