This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual with a proven track record in delivering a fresh food offer to manage a Subway unit within one of our existing stores.

McColls Retail Group are the second largest multiple convenience operator in the UK, comprising of approximately 1600 stores including over 1,200 convenience stores, over 580 post offices and 24 Subway units offering freshly made products daily .

We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of neighbourhood retailing and in our stores you will find a wide range of products and services available. We continually work to improve the customer offer across our store portfolio, particularly in terms of Food to Go, Fresh and Chilled products.

As a Subway Unit Manager you will have full accountability and will be required to set high standards and to make sure that the unit consistently reaches them, you’ll also be required to achieve excellent sales and profitability along with preparing and presenting food that meets with the highest quality.

This role is unit management at its most practical as you will be involved in a all aspects of food preparation, serving customers and making sure the unit is clean, hygienic and most of all welcoming. It’s also about inspiring the team around you by making sure all colleagues are happy, motivated and well trained.

This role requires a flexible approach, as you will be required to work early mornings and some late nights.

If you have previous experience within the retail food or catering industry, the ability to coach and train others, a flexible and adaptable approach and a passion for delivering the best possible experience to the customer, we’d love to hear from you.
