Our client, a professional and exciting company with modern offices based in Guildford, are looking for a Subcontracts Manager to join their company.
Within the role you will be required to support and lead the management of contracts, act as the first point of call for all management issues, ensuring that all aspects of the business and contract needs are met.
You will also assess contractor performance alongside developing strategic business relationships, maintain and enhancing the successful business ethos.
You ideally need to be educated to degree level or equivalent - an MCIPS qualification would be beneficial but not essential.
It would be ideal if you have contract managed within an engineering industry, commercial risk management, and have working knowledge of project management and procurement. You will be highly organised with excellent commination skills and be a creative thinker who is able to negotiate and influence at all levels. You will need to have flexibility to travel in the UK or internationally as required.
