The post holder is required to work independently on his/her own initiative co-coordinating research activity within various departments at George Eliot Hospital.
He/she will be the first point of contact for any staff member or external researcher seeking advice support and supervision in research studies at the George Eliot Hospital. This will include providing specialist advisory service on matters related to research (including administration, governance, funding and the regulatory requirements).
The post holder will manage and coordinate clinical studies within various departments as required and provide an administrative and financial service to the Principal Investigator and research staff in relation to study specific activity and the wider remit of the Department.
