Studio Coordinator and Receptionist

A North London based Architectural and Design Practice is seeking a Studio Coordinator and Receptionist to join their team. The practice has an international reputation for delivering outstanding design projects within higher education, housing, master planning and regeneration. This individual will assist with the general running of the studio, as well as be the first point of contact for all clients and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a flexible attitude, work well under pressure and thrive in a busy environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Reception duties - greeting clients, keeping area tidy, managing supplies, receiving post and couriers, managing meeting rooms
  • Coordinating calendar and booking meeting rooms
  • Ensure office is presentable at all times
  • Diary management and arranging travel and hotel bookings
  • Liaising with IT support and managing printers and maintenance contracts
  • Arranging CPD's
  • General administrative tasks around studio

Key skills:

  • Previous experience in administration within a creative environment essential
  • Proficient in Microsoft office including Excel
  • Ability to use InDesign and Photoshop would be an advantage
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Ability to take own initiative and ability to work within team
