A global architecture and design practice based in East London are seeking a confident and positive Studio and Office Administrator to join their team. The practice specialises in interiors, strategy, planning and sustainability. This is a great role for someone looking to further their career in creative support within the architecture and design industry.

Key responsibilities:

  • Overseeing all aspects of practice administration and ensuring smooth running of studio
  • Daily administrative tasks to support staff members - diary management, holiday and sickness records
  • Organise practice events, travel and bookings
  • Coordinate training, reviews and meetings when appropriate
  • Front of house tasks - answer incoming calls, greet clients/guests, prepare refreshments, manage post, etc.
  • Manage and order photocopiers/printers, office stationary and supplies
  • Liaise with contractors for practice management and building upkeep (IT, office move, maintenance, etc.)
  • Finances - manage petty cash, credit card tracking, and liaising with accounts for invoices and expenses
  • Monitoring and implementing practice budgeting
  • Meeting and greeting clients, answering phones as required
  • Assisting in production of tender submissions and presentations

Key skills:

  • At least one-year experience in studio or office management
  • Excellent organisational, time management and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team player, willing to help wherever needed
  • Proactive and confident
