We are looking to recruit a Student Residence Assistant on a temporary contract possibly to go permanent. The job will start on Mon 12th March 2018. You will be working as part of a team working on a rota basis.
Responsible for working on reception area answering telephone calls dealing with any queries. Checking in students and conference guests issuing keys, good customer service.
General admin duties and filing of documentation
Maintain all required records in relation to keys isssue, return,use,loss and replacement.
Checking and distributing post and checking maintenance system.
Working as part of a team covering other areas as required for the site.
Understanding fire safety regulations, Health & Safety regulations emergency procedures and rules fire evacuating a building.
Ensure all keys and electronic fobs are securely stored and issued with accordance. Maintain necessary records, logbook if any incidents and liaising with the manager.
You need to be:
Team player, Excellent communication skills be able to work in a team and on own. Have a can do attitude and very reliable.
Shift times vary from 07.30-3.30pm,09.00-5.00pm,12.00-8.00pm on rota basis shifts may change at times so need to be flexible.
