Student Recruitment Manager (SRM) - ULaw Online
The University of Law (ULaw) is one of the world's largest law schools. With an impressive history dating back to 1876, we employ over 900 staff and have over 14,000 students studying on our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, along with an alumni network in excess of 100,000. We were the first-ever independent institution to be granted degree awarding powers and in 2012 we gained university title. With a rich heritage and a reputation for innovation and contemporary teaching practices, we continuously focus on developing the best legal and business minds. In 2016, we opened our leading Business School, further enhancing our reputation as a full service legal, business and educational training specialist, operating from campuses throughout the UK, Berlin and Hong Kong and an Online campus.
What really sets us apart from other universities is the guiding principle that future lawyers and business leaders should learn in a realistic, professional and contemporary context, with plenty of practical interactive engagement. That's why we keep our contact hours high and our teaching groups small.
Due to significant student growth, we are looking to recruit a Student Recruitment Manager for our Online Campus. In this busy and varied role, you will be responsible for driving student recruitment at the largest campus within the University of Law.
Reporting directly to the Senior Student Recruitment Manager - Online & National, you will be responsible for the implementation of an online student recruitment strategy to deliver increased student numbers and KPIs. In addition, you will line manage the Student Recruitment Officer for the Online Campus.
This role works closely with colleagues throughout the Online campus and with those in the marketing, international and brand teams. You will lead on the following aspects within the Online campus:
Events Programme - the organisation and execution of an extensive Online events programme.
Lead Generation - engaging with prospective students to meet demanding lead generation targets
Conversion - development and delivery of activities to support conversion, and the 'rollover’ of existing ULaw students
Building Student Community - development and delivery of community events, initiatives and processes to increase student satisfaction of existing ULaw Online students
Diversification - identification of external opportunities to help diversify the ULaw Online portfolio and attract students to a range of programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
We offer an excellent range of competitive benefits including a generous annual leave allowance, private medical scheme, contributory pension scheme, life assurance, training and qualifications, and travel loans. As part of the tutor development programme, we will also support you to study for a recognised teaching qualification within your first 18 months of employment.
Please note, CVs will not be considered and only application forms are accepted for this role.
Closing date: 21st October
Interview date: Week of 25th October
No agencies please.
Some posts within the University are subject to a DBS check - you will be notified of this during the application process.
As an equal opportunities employer, we welcome applications from all suitably qualified persons. However, as Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) individuals are currently under-represented within the University - which does not reflect our diverse student body - we would particularly welcome applications from BAME candidates. All appointments will be made on merit.
