A brilliant school in Devizes, Wiltshire are looking for a Student Mental Health Assistant to join their team in the new academic year beginning September 2024. The school provide education to students with additional needs regarding social, emotional and mental health challenges. The students in attendance benefit from guidance in the form of 1-1 support throughout the school day. Working as a Student Mental Health Assistant, you will not only work closely with the pupils in order to keep them focused and engaged in their education but with class teachers and on-site professionals too. As a Student Mental Health Assistant, you will act as a role model to the students and create a safe environment. Creating an encouraging atmosphere is crucial in helping students to develop independence.

The successful Student Mental Health Assistant will be welcomed to the school in September 2024. They will collaborate with psychologists, therapists, safeguarding officers to uphold the guarantee of a positive, warm and supportive learning environment.

  • Monday - Friday, 8:30 to 3:30
