Tendring Technology College is a key member of Academies Enterprise Trust (AET), a multi-Academy sponsor which aims to provide the opportunity for all young learners to fulfil their real potential, broaden their horizons and become active, prosperous and successful citizens in the world around them. The College attained Teaching School status in July 2014 and is a large successful 11-18 mixed comprehensive school, which has two campuses; Frinton Campus (KS4 & KS5) and Thorpe Campus (KS3) with 5 miles between sites.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and approachable Student Health/Admin Assistant to join the team at Thorpe Campus where over 850 students in years 7-9 are based. The successful candidates will have previous experience of working with or caring for young people and will ideally hold a First Aid qualification. The ability to work as part of a team as well as using your own initiative is essential for this role as well as having general ICT and admin skills.
This is a high profile position working alongside the Learning Teams and the NHS School Nurse Service. You will have regular contact with families of students who have medical issues during the day. You will liaise with College staff and the NHS particularly when immunisation programmes are undertaken.
As the sponsor, AET believes that all young people deserve to become world-class learners - to learn, enjoy, succeed and thrive in a first rate educational environment with the best facilities, the best teaching and the most up-to-date resources available to them. In each of the AET academies, you will benefit from visionary, inspirational and dynamic leadership and be empowered to develop your own skills with access to world-class CPD and Talent Management programmes. You will also be offered membership of a private health cash plan, pension scheme and childcare vouchers.
