Student Conduct/ Compliance Officer
3 Month Temporary Assignment
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Student Conduct and Compliance Officer is responsible for the progression of student cases under seven student procedures for Foundation, Undergraduate, Postgraduate degree and CPPD modular programmes delivered by the University for over 6000 students
The post holder will work as part of the Student Conduct and Compliance Team within Governance, Legal and Assurance Services to provide an advisory service for students and staff on the operation of student procedures. In addition, the post holder will provide secretarial support for senior committees, panels and meetings.
The Student Conduct and Compliance Officer is also responsible for helping to deliver strategic development projects and for supporting committees that enhance the student experience and maintain Universities infrastructure for education delivery and management.
The post holder will be expected to work with an appropriate degree of autonomy whilst liaising effectively with administrative and academic colleagues and ensuring good communication within the wider Higher Education community. The post holder is expected to be flexible in their approach to work and to undertake additional activities as necessary.
Providing support to other staff members in the production of reports relating to student progression, equal opportunities, and other relevant compliance matters (FOI requests).
