Student Behaviour Assistant - Full Time - Swindon

We are working alongside a fantastic SEN/SEMH provision based in Swindon, who want to welcome an enthusiastic candidate to the team as a Student Behaviour Assistant. The school provide education and support to students who face challenges regarding behaviour and mental health. They are seeking a confident individual to join them as a Student behaviour Assistant to support the students who benefit from consistent guidance and encouragement. As a Student Behaviour Assistant, you will be assisting students aged 5 - 16 years old throughout the school day.

The Student Behaviour Assistant's responsibilities:

  • Identify potential triggers for challenging behaviour
  • Encourage independence and self-investigation
  • Act as a role model for students
  • Communicate with teachers, parents and on-site professionals
  • Ensuring students feel safe and able to express themselves

Working as a Student Behaviour Assistant is an incredibly rewarding experience; seeing students overcome hurdles and reach their potential despite facing difficulties. The school is a fantastic environment to gain experience and develop your skill set working with vulnerable children.

  • Monday - Friday
  • 8:30am - 3:30pm
  • £85 - £95 daily rate
  • SEN Alternative Provision
  • Based Swindon, SN2
