  • Hourly Rate: 22.05

We are seeking a Temporary Agency Student Achievement Tutor to join our Student Achievement Team at the South East London Campus. This role is vital for delivering tutorials and enrichment across various subject areas, focusing on preparing learners for their future steps, supporting personal development, and providing pastoral care.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging tutorials and enrichment activities that cater to a broad range of subject areas.
  • Support learners in planning for their futures and provide guidance on personal development.
  • Offer pastoral care and signpost learners to appropriate internal and external support services.
  • Facilitate group discussions on key issues affecting young people, ranging from personal concerns and safeguarding topics to local and national themes.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, including parents/carers, to enhance student support and engagement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience in engaging with young people and facilitating group discussions.
  • Ability to address a variety of topics relevant to young people, including personal development, safeguarding, and broader societal issues.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, capable of working effectively with other internal teams and external agencies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with students, parents/carers, and other stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
