This highly regarded consultancy has earned a reputation for creative and elegant structural engineering spanning over two decades. Their conservation division has a new opportunity for a building structures engineer with an interest in historic buildings. The type and age of the buildings you will work on will be exceptionally broad and require a highly skilled and sensitive engineering approach. Your work will include structural and fabric surveys, conservation assessments and management plans, structural design, listed building consents and contract administration. There will be close working with clients and support and mentoring from engineers who are expert in this field. Much of their work is in London however their reputation means increasing demand for their services nationally. They are looking for a degree qualified engineer who is either chartered or working towards chartership with the IStructE, ICE or a similar body. Your experience should include an understanding of all the commonly used construction materials. They work out of new and highly resourced offices with easy access to transport links.
