Our Stroke service provides a 24 hour, 365 days of the year Thrombolysis Service. We provide an emergency “FAST” positive response to patients in the Emergency Department who require rapid assessment and thrombolysis treatment, as set out in our Stroke Integrated Care Pathway. Patients begin thrombolysis treatment within the Emergency Department and are then transferred to the Stroke Unit for ongoing care and treatment, where we are continually striving to improve patients’ experience and outcomes.
We are looking for dynamic, forward thinking and innovative practitioner to join this specialised dedicated team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist. You will work alongside our Advanced Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialists and a dedicated multi-disciplinary team delivering acute, rehabilitation and out-patient care. Training to develop into an Advance Nurse Practitioner role will be provided.
