Stress Engineer

With continued business innovation, and project award, an opportunity exists for Stress Engineers to join a unique business with a global footprint in their market.

Duties and requirements;
-Work within one or a number of multi-disciplinary teams to help deliver world-class, cutting edge, electro-mechanical systems
-Develop specialist knowledge in different fields of Structural Mechanics such as Vibration Analysis, Fatigue and Fracture Mechanics, Damage Tolerance Assessment, Model Validation, Transient Analysis and Non-linear Analysis.
-Provide stress and lifting statements for components on civil aerospace programmes, and provide theoretical stress analysis to support future research and methods.
-Liaise with Integrated Project Teams, customers and supporting departments as appropriate to ensure delivery of our commitments.
-Support the Development Programmes, including liaising with Development, to define test requirements and assessing the results of tested components.
-Perform structural integrity assessments of components using existing methods and processes, and develop new processes when applicable.
-Support and present results and analysis findings at design reviews, stress reviews, and project reviews and capture best practices and lessons learnt.
-Participate in methods development and improving analysis processes.
