This company is a household name in the entertainment industry. They operate globally and currently have over 100 locations in the UK alone. They are looking for a programme manager to join their team for a 9 month contract based in London reporting to the Programme Director. This role is especially exciting as it's a newly created role within the business and so you can really make the role your own.
Your new role
In this programme co-ordinator role you will be working with cross functional teams to ensure that the projects deliver the required output in terms of quality, cost and against agreed timetables. You will coordinate the planning and reporting of multiple workstreams and liaise between programme sponsors, programme director and project teams. You will manage and monitor the project plan; identify and log any potential risks/ issues and assist with the creation of contingency plans to help minimise risk. You will also work with the programme director to establish effective project management reporting systems by planning timelines, status and budgets.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed within this programme management role will have to operate a high level of discretion as the project you will be working on are commercially sensitive. You will have previously worked as a project/programme director and be confident in both agile and waterfall methodologies. You will have previous experience organising meetings, writing agendas and capturing actions whilst also having the ability to establish systematic courses of actions to achieve objects.
