As our new Strategic Pricing Analyst you will be accountable for all aspects of a pricing programme designed to locate and extract incremental margin by recognising opportunity and creating value across the Equifax UK&I portfolio.

This brand new role has scope for creativity across a broad spectrum of products and services serving a diversity of sectors (e.g. financial services, government, telecoms, utilities, retailers, fast-growing enterprises, debt collectors).

You will be a key member of the pricing organisation to strategically define how to monetise existing and new solutions and creating value through pricing projects.

Key responsibilities of the Strategic Pricing Analyst:

  • Idea generation and profitability quantification, working with business information and finance professionals.
  • Feasibility, impact and risk investigation, working with finance, operations, legal and sales professionals.
  • Shaping and presenting options and recommendations, up to Europe Pricing Leader level.
  • Enacting changes to prices, working with operational and billing experts.
  • Ownership of rate cards ranging from credit risk solutions to debt management services, the latter across UK, Spain, International, and adjusting them to ensure they are appropriate to each target market
  • Strategic pricing of new products and custom solutions to define price positioning in the GTM strategy.



Essential experience requirements of the Strategic Pricing Analyst:

  • Proven experience of utilising commercial acumen and/or analytical tools to generating incremental value from clients' prices, and pricing for sales opportunities.
  • Strong MS Excel skills within a reporting environment
  • Holder of a 1st or 2:1 undergraduate degree
  • Proven stakeholder management experience.
  • Ability to reduce complex data to options and compelling recommendations.
  • Abie to work within a flexible but deadline driven environment.



Essential experience requirements of the Strategic Pricing Analyst:

  • Numerical degree discipline
  • Credit Risk industry experience preferred but not essential.
