Head4Talent have been retained to support the recruitment of a Head of Finance & Operations for Chwarae Teg in Cardiff.

The Organisation

Chwarae Teg, Fair Play (Workforce) Limited is a Company limited by guarantee and registered with the Charities Commission. It was originally established in 1992 and has a turnover of c.£2.5-£3m and currently employs 83 members of staff. Whilst, the majority, of its current funding comes from Welsh Government and The European Commission, it is looking to develop revenue from both commercial activity and the development of its Supporter Network.

With the direction of a high- profile and forward- thinking Board, Chwarae Teg is looking forward to the next stage in the organisation’s development.

The Opportunity

The organisation is currently looking to strengthen the Senior Management and leadership team and has an excellent opportunity for a talented Senior Finance Professional to assume the role of Head of Finance & Operations.

The role reports directly to the Chief Executive and has senior leadership and management responsibility for Finance & Accounting Strategy and other Corporate services, including Procurement, IT, Facilities, Audit & Risk, Governance & Health & Safety

This is broader than just a Finance role and as such we are looking for highly capable Finance leaders with experience of leading other business support functions. As a minimum requirement, the candidate must have a professional Accountancy Qualification.
