Strategic Account Manager (M&E)

Electronic/Security/Systems/Sales/Business Development/Contracting Market

eSift are currently looking for a proven Account Manager, with experience in New Business Development and a strong technical knowledge of electronic security systems, CCTV, access control, intruder alarms to work with our Clients team in Belfast selling into the contracting market.

Our client is the leading global integrated security company, specialising in the provision of security products, services and solutions.

Location: Belfast with the requirement to travel across Northern Ireland where required

Salary: Circa £30k per annum plus OTE, Company car and other benefits

Key role responsibilities;

  • Achieving sales/order intake targets so that the business achieves its strategic plan for profitable and sustainable growth in Projects
  • Identifying, qualifying and winning new Projects opportunities
  • Proactively managing relationships and driving business growth from specifiers, consultants, electrical contractors and construction companies
  • Developing relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target markets and client organisations
  • Proactively researching the market and competitors to maximise positioning and provide intelligence in relation to products, pricing, performance and presentation
  • Working alongside the bid and design teams in the development of proposals, system designs & quotations
  • Working alongside installations and service departments to ensure project delivery and customer satisfaction

To be successful in this position you will have/be;

  • Proven success in sales paired with the experience of dealing with, Consultants, Major Contractors and M&E Contractors
  • Strong technical proven sales ability in the security and/or fire market (multi-discipline technical ability is not necessary but preferable)
  • Knowledge of market leading CCTV and access control systems
  • Track record in negotiating major contracts for installation projects
  • A professional and solutions-based approach to exceeding customer service requirements
  • Expertise in pipeline development and conversion
  • Success in both developing new business and growing established customer accounts
  • Knowledge of/experience of working with high end clients and Major contractors
  • 5 years checkable work history and unrestricted right to work in the UK/EU
  • Background in electrical and mechanical engineering within the Fire & Security market would be advantageous
