Sussex Recruitment requires a Stores person for their client based near Uckfield. Although initially
a temporary position it is envisaged the ideal candidate would be offered a permanent role after a suitable trial period.
Your main responsibility will be the control of stock movements in and out of the stores, in addition to the preparation of kits for presentation to manufacturing, stock control, and programming.
Main Duties to include:
Receiving goods inwards, checking documentation, quality, state of packaging and identifying with order number.
Create kit boxes, identify with required information and place relevant items inside
Issue requisitioned parts and shortages to manufacturing
Programme devices as required to customer supplied information
Ensure when required that equipment being used shows a clear calibration status
Ensure documentation is the latest issue and where required is completed accurately
Liaise with all departments as necessary and comply with Company, ISO and Health & Safety procedures
This is a full time position 40 hours p/wk, with slightly flexible hours, start time from between 7 and 8.30am, finish between 4.30 and 5.30pm.
