Our client is currently recruiting for a Pharmaceutical Stores Operative to be based in Salisbury on a permanent basis. They employ nearly 290 staff, performing a range of process and analytical development, production, quality control and quality assurance roles associated with the development and manufacture of bio-pharmaceuticals.
Your new role
The main responsibilities of the posts will be to assist with the receipt, storage, stock control, dispensing and issuing of raw materials and goods to the pharmaceutical manufacturing units in accordance with the regulations governing the production of vaccines and therapeutics - Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Attention to detail and the accurate completion of documentation and records are essential requirements of the post.
What you'll need to succeed
An individual with good team working skills, a flexible approach in the workplace with a background in working in a stores/warehouse environment, and possibly either pharmaceutical manufacturing or food industry experience. Awareness of good customer service skills would be an advantage, together with good communication skills and experience of record keeping and recording.
Due to the location of this role, it will be imperative that you own your own vehicle and have a valid driving license, as it is not accessible via public transport.
What you'll get in return
The initial starting salary will be at £17,403 with the potential to rise after a minimum of 18 months training and development to £19, 086 pa.
