An exciting opportunity for an experienced Stores Person to join an established manufacturing business in Glenrothes.
Your new role
You will be working within a small team and will be dealing with receiving all incoming goods and delivering materials to appropriate departments, checking all materials against purchase orders.Ensuring that Stores inventory records including all associated documentation are maintained accurately.Liaising with Procurement to ensure that minimum and maximum stock levels are adhered to.Managing rolling and yearly stock checks. Making sure goods are despatched to strict deadlines whilst adhering to company procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for candidates with a positive attitude who is enthusiastic and reliable with a desire to get the job done within tight deadlines. You must be physically fit, with a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail constantly producing quality work of the highest standard and a flexible approach to work. You will have the ability to multi task and prioritise your workload as well as having an organised approach to work. You must have previous stores/warehouse experience with a current teach truck or counterbalance license. You must have excellent customer service and IT skills.
What you'll get in return
This is a Monday - Friday position and they are offering a salary of between £16,000 and £18,000. A company pension, life assurance, free parking plus 32 days annual leave increasing with service.
