Retail Senior Sales Assistant/Store Manager

Our client is one of the most trusted suppliers of beds, mattresses and furniture in the South East of England with more than 45 years of experience and 8 store locations throughout the South East.

They are looking for a Store Manager with previous retail experience for their Bexleyheath store

As Store Manager your responsibilities will include monitoring store stock, ordering stock and managing deliveries, managing and reporting on store budget, dealing with daily banking & reconciliation and providing highest level of customer service both face to face and over the telephone.

The Store Manager will be assisting delivery drivers with new stock deliveries and so there will be some heavy lifting required arranging new items within the store.

You will be working very much on your own in the store and be required to work week-ends including Sundays on a rota basis.

The company places a lot of emphasis on personal training and development and for the first 8 weeks of your employment you will be required to work at either their Beckenham or Wallington store for full product and sales training.

Store hours are 9.00 am - 6.00 pm Monday - Saturday and 10.00am - 4.00 pm on Sunday

Previous retail experience is essential ideally gained within large consumer goods.

Competitive basic salary up to c£20K OTE c£40K +
