Job Title: Store Manager
Salary: £28,000 + Benefit package

As a General Manager your role is primarily about excellent execution of our clients retail offering through delivering centrally driven decisions and critically about driving outstanding first class customer service, providing an amazing shopping environment through the sustained inspiration of your entire team. In this position you will lead and direct the store team to achieve all targets set for the store, ensuring consistent delivery of profit and the brand. You will represent our client in a positive, motivated and enthusiastic manner in line with their company core values. This is a superb opportunity to join a British retail giant in a high profile position and to assume responsibility for ensuring the success and profitability of a large turnover store.

Experience as a General Manager, Store Manager or Area Manager within a fast paced, high volume retail high street or out of town brand. This is an outstanding opportunity to progress your management skills and have autonomy over your own store with a leading retailer. A passion for customer service and proven track record in managing and leading people, with experience of training and developing a store team through effective performance management is preferred. You will be KPI driven, trading focused and have a strong understanding of market trends, customer needs and your competition.
REQUIRED SKILLS FROM CANDIDATES
• Experience in a retail organisation with strong focus / recognised as excellent in customer service
• Managed a minimum sales budget of £30 million (either single or multi site)
• Knows what excellence in retail standards looks and feels like and is aware of any future trends
• Understands how to interpret a detailed profit and loss statement
• Has a history of decisive decision making for short/long term with examples of where the outcome has impacted on customer/profit/employee
• Evidence of driving continual business improvements
• Proven leadership skills through both good and bad trading times
• Is known for their skill in developing future talent
• Constantly and consistently drives their own personal development
