Established in 1987, Ramsdens are an ever-expanding successful business who pride themselves on still having the caring/family feel approach. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Customer Service Manager / Sales Manager / Retail Manager to join the Ramsdens family!

Job Title: Store Manager

Hours: 41.25 hours over 5 days per week

Benefits: Fantastic Bonus Scheme, 28 days Holiday including Bank Holidays increasing to 33 with service, Birthday Holiday, NPA Qualification, Childcare Vouchers and Uniform provided.

Our Newton Mearns branch is a new addition to the Ramsdens expanding branch network. You will have the opportunity to develop a new team and build a great brand awareness.

Key Duties and Tasks:

  • Effective management of the branch's processes, people and systems
  • Review operational turnover, maintaining maximum efforts to achieve agreed operating income
  • Ensure that the tight controls on stock management are adhered to
  • Lead and develop the team, measuring staff performance through on-going reviews, training and coaching sessions
  • Ensure customers are served with great customer service and their requirements are met at all times
  • Competitor intelligence and identify new marketing opportunities for the branch
  • Manage window displays ensuring products are displayed to their best advantage

  • Have a systematic and organised approach to work
  • Face to face customer service experience
  • Able to solve problems with both staff and customers alike
