The Client

A fast paced, customer focused Luxury Business based in Airport Terminals, specializing in multi-brand, multi product items. Deliverying exceptional service and experiences to the million of customers that walk through the Airport every year.

The Role

You are responsible for maximising driving business performance to maximise your product category potential. Working with and influencing supplier/head office partners and coaching leaders to drive excellent service.

  • Setting the vision for the team to create an environment that delivers world class customer service on a daily basis. Delivering a service proposition that complements the overall company service strategy and delivers 'more than you imagined’
  • Maximizing the terminal KPI performance by driving sales, service and operational excellence by exploring opportunities for growth, continually building on relationships with both external and internal Stakeholders and Business Partners
  • Deliver a commercially focused customer service action/activity plan that ensures success at meeting the customer service objectives
  • Maximises category revenue through regular analysis, review, challenge and feedback with our business partners and commercial and terminal teams
  • Encourage and inspire the team to deliver at the highest level and maximize their potential whilst supporting the development of individuals through succession.
  • Challenging the teams when necessary, identifying and nurturing talent to grow through strong leadership, motivation and daily coaching
  • Building effective relationships with key stakeholders to maximise engagement with commercial initiatives

The Person:

  • Are passionate about providing exceptional service - both personally and in a team
  • Able to analyse, review and articulate commercial information
  • Role model self-motivation, enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Are forward thinking and continuously look for opportunities to improve and develop

You will have:

  • Previously coached/managed/developed a team of managers within a service or sales environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills - able to build effective working relationships
  • Previously led a team in a commercial environment
  • Proven ability to motivate and inspire people
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and engagement skills
  • The ability to build meaningful and effective working relationships that earns the trust of colleagues and our business partners
  • The experience and confidence to manage, develop and enhance the performance of others and the store you are accountable for
  • The ability to challenge the status quo and enable change for the better

Salary & Benefits

Up to £37,000k basic + bonus
