Person: It is essential that the candidate has previous Stock Management experience. Ideally within a food retail distribution, FMCG environment.
Role: To have overall responsibility for stock analysis and communicate effectively with senior ops team, as required. Manage the stock profile through the warehouse management system. Manage to ensure agreed KPI's are met or exceeded, in line with and customer requirement
o Ensure accurate control of inventory up to and beyond the KPI levels expected by the customer
o Support and analyse all stock counts and audits of inventory in the warehouse.
o Raising and resolving internal and external queries by telephone and/or e-mail
o Produce accurate and timely reports on inventory variances and interpret this information to analyse and investigate trends or issues and implement changes to rectify ongoing situations.
o Trouble shoot, investigate and resolve any problems or queries on a daily basis.
o Ensure all processes and procedures are adhered to, to promote 100% on time and accurate customer deliveries
o Interface with customer as required to support the contract and drive continuous improvement through the stock and operational functions.
o Working closely with the Operations Management team, ensuring that the correct processes and use of systems are in place and challenge the existing practices.
o To produce accurate reports and information for customer and senior management team, as required
o Create a culture of engagement and inclusion within the operation and across the site
o Monitor resource, recruitment and deployment of resource where required, including seasonal planning
o Support a continuous improvement programme to increase efficient and effective working practices within the department
o Ensure all processes and procedures are adhered to, ensuring financial accuracy of stock files
o To lead and support process improvement activities to deliver continuous improvement to the customer and within the business
o Manage direct reports including performance review, performance management and career development
o Develop team members ensuring all employees are regularly appraised and provided with ongoing constructive feedback on performance
