My client are looking for a Logistics Stock Controller to join their team on a temporary basis, out of Hereford.

The role is responsible for stock controlling within the Logistics department.

The role is responsible for the documenting of all stock movements and stock holding within the business vaults, high security areas and warehouses

Ensuring all Logistics procedures are followed and adhered to at all times

Department role:
Providing Logistics functions to all departments within the business. This stock taking and stock reporting within the business for all customers and suppliers.

Role specifics:
" Responsible for daily recording of secure cards, consumables issued from the business vaults, including spoil replacement handling
" Responsible for completing daily, weekly and monthly stock checks for all areas
" Responsible for booking in new goods received externally and internally, ensuring accuracy of counts.
" Responsible for the provision of customer stock reports on a daily, weekly and monthly requirement, ensuring accuracy in the production of said reports
" Responsible for continual accuracy of customer owned stocks, ensuring all cards are accounted for at all times, and all vault controls are accurate at all times
" Responsible for reporting immediately any discrepancies found within the vaults to the Logistics Manager
" Responsible for identification of low stock levels of Client stock, communication of such to the relevant teams
" Control and auditing of secure goods and handling within Mastercard / Visa procedures in all areas including the high secure vaults
" Responsible for daily stock taking and reporting of quantities and stock values to all relevant departments within the business including Finance, Production, contracts, Customer Care and implementation
" Input of information to the stock system, updating on a daily basis
" Ensuring that general housekeeping standards in the vaults, stores and loading bay areas in all buildings are to the standard set by the Logistics Manager
" Adherence to goods handling procedures for receipt and despatch of items is maintained at all times to ensure auditability and evidence of stock movements and shipments via third parties using despatch notes and receipt procedures

To be considered for this Admin role, you will need:
" Relevant experience of logistical experience in stock controlling and stock reporting
" GCSE grade "C" or above in three subjects including Mathematics and English
" Demonstrable computer literacy utilising Microsoft Office packages or equivalent
" Good organisational skills
" Good communication skills
" A smart appearance and courteous manner
" Ability to work effectively under pressure
" Team building skills
