Our longstanding Rugeley based client with an enviable reputation are recruiting for a Stock Controller on a Permanent basis.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and have recent and relevant experience within a Stock Control / Supply Chain based role ( 12 months minimum)
Key Responsibilities will include
Monitoring and controlling stock levels
Keeping stock holding to a minimum
Producing and maintaining individual customer budgets by item
Ensuring stock efficiency by monitoring stock levels to meet outstanding orders
Liaise with Customer Managers and Controllers and General Managers to produce latest estimates and budget updates
Work directly with customer Stock Controllers to record current and estimated future demand patterns
Advise all personnel in Sales in relation to stock availability
Create proposed purchase orders
Create and amend standard cost data in material files
Complete ad - hoc statistical reports on Sales by customer, by product and individual as required
Collate factual data and aid with submissions - Waste Packaging / WEE and Battery Regulations
In addition to the above candidates must possess a close attention to detail, be logical and methodical in their approach and have an understanding of supply chain processes and logistics
Excellent computer literacy with advanced MS Excel
Knowledge of MS Windows and Outlook
SAP B1 - Ideal but not essential

Monday to Friday
9.00 am - 5.00 pm
