Staff Nurse ( RGN ) - newly qualified or experienced - acquired brain injury

Service Type: Care Home

Location: Southport

Salary: £28,000 per annum (negotiable depending upon experience)

Hours: full time, 37.5 hours per week

Shifts: structured rotational pattern (days/nights/weekends)

Contract: Permanent

The Service:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified RGN to work within a care home for learning disabilities and acquired brain injury. This is a 32 bedded service which offers bespoke care for clients on an individual basis.

Clients at the home may have a variety of physical disabilities as well as either acquired brain injuries, intellectual / learning disabilities, or mental illnesses associated with conditions such as epilepsy or sensory impairment.

The team at the home is very close knit and dedicated. The management is also very committed to the development of its staff and offers continuous support and training, including onsite tracheostomy and ventilator training. The Job:

This role will involve undertaking and managing direct patient care, having participated fully in the assessment, planning and evaluation of care needs. The RGN will be involved in both individual and group care sessions.

Person Specification:

Applicants should be qualified to practice as a nurse ( RGN ) within the UK. Applicants must therefore hold a valid PIN and be eligible to live and work in the UK without the need for sponsorship.
