Registered General Nurse Job
£16.00 per hour
Search Consultancy is looking to recruit an experienced Registered General Nurse on behalf of a brand new purpose built 80 bedded general nursing and residential care centre, based in Chester.
The home is part of a well established healthcare company which has 4 large nursing and residential homes within the group. The company care for elderly residents with general nursing needs, dementia and residents who are physically disabled.
Our client is looking for an experienced nurse to work 24.5 hours per week on 12 hour day shifts, working from 08:00 to 20:00. You will be paid for the full 12 hours you are on shifts and you will also be paid for a 15 minute handover. The salary is £16.00 per hour plus company benefits such as paid training days, NMC PIN paid and support with reregistration.
While on shift you will be responsible for running the 20 bedded general nursing unit. You will be the only nurse on shift so you will be responsible for delegating tasks to health care staff, ordering and administering medication, updating residents care plans, liaising with the local MDT team, providing wound care, catheter care, syringe drivers and providing a high standard of care at all times.
To be considered for the job you must:
* Be a qualified Registered General Nurse
* Have previous experience of working within a nursing home
* Have good clinical skills
* Have a clear and active NMC PIN
